Acclaimed guitarist, arranger and composer TOMÁŠ ILLE has focused on teaching the very beginning to a slightly advanced level in his new textbook on playing the classical guitar, which has just been published by the music publishing house Bärenreiter Prague. It emphasizes methodical clarity and the sequence of individual phases of teaching, follows on from well-known schools (Carulli, Carcassi, Jirmal), but brings, among other things, a lot of its own guitar etudes and recital pieces, uses folk songs as part of the teaching above standard.
