Megaton Fashion Show returns for the 12th time
The return of a unique design competition
For eleven years in a row, fans of quality graphics, fashion and music have been able to look forward to the Megaton Fashion Show, an event unparalleled on the domestic scene. In 2020, however, the Covid-19 pandemic significantly eased over the next two years cultural events around the world. This year, however, the competition for the best music design returns with a new twelfth energy. And this time as part of the 5th year of the popular Festiwall 2022 trade fair.
On Sunday, September 11, visitors to the kytary.cz complex in Modřany in Prague can look forward to announcing the winners of the competition for the best booklet, poster and merchandise, in addition to "classic" workshops, seminars and exhibitions. The awards ceremony in these categories will be preceded by a vote of the expert jury. The absolute best designer for the years 2020 and 2021 will then be decided by the general public on the Megaton Fashion Show Facebook page. The next winner will be chosen by the competitors themselves.
The culmination of the event will be the traditional concert of the Megaton Stars Band, consisting of an extraordinary selection of Czech (not only) club musicians under the baton of bandleader Karel Vošta from post-hardcore Hell Paso. About fifteen world hits across genres and in special arrangements by Žofia Dařbujánová (MYDY), Hanka Kosnovská (Nil), Dana Yousifová (Monna), Michal Skořepa (Mr. Lynx), Dan Kurz (Courtesans from 25th Avenue) and many other talented artists.
